Melanie Hava

Today, we join Prof. Val Franco for a look at the work of Melanie Hava, an Aboriginal artist from the Dugul-barra and Wari-barra family groups in the Wet Tropics of Far-North Queensland. Her interpretations of the people and natural world, including reef environments and the rainforest have always been prevalent in her work. Her use of composition and color brings these stylized, representative images alive.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!!!
